Buses from Coban to Semuc Champey
Option 1: By minubus to Semuc
To go to the natural park of Semuc Champey you first have to travel to
Coban. (see the Coban chapter on the previous page)
From Coban minibuses go up and down to Lanquin (the nearest village to
the park) and directly to Semuc Champey. These minibuses can drop you
of at the hostels and hotels on the way.
The best hostels/hotels in the region for backpackers are:
- Casa el Sapote
- El Retiro
- Las Marias
