San Jose / San Andres are located at 30 minutes distance from Flores. San Jose is at 5 minutes walking distance from San Andres. Both villages, but especially San Jose, are famous for their nice beaches!

Most tourists visit San Jose and San Andres to follow classes in one of the Spanish Schools or to participate in a volunteer project.

To go to San Jose or San Andres you have to take a minibus from the new busterminal in Santa Elena. (Cross the bridge from Flores and walk strait ahead to the end of the street)

Buses leave every 30 minutes and a one way trip to San Andres or San Jose cost Q 10. Make sure you get the last bus back to Flores. Locals can tell you at what time it leaves.

It`s also possible to get a boat to San Jose or San Andres from Flores. Once a day there is a public boat leaving at 10.00 am from Flores which is the cheapest option. Ask at Los Amigos for departure time!
