IMPORTANT: Due to bad experiences in the past we decided not to work with reservations anymore. But don't worry! We are a big place and in most cases we'll have space. If everything might be full however, I will be happy to recommend you to other good places in town!

Where are we?
Youth Hostel Los Amigos is located in the heart of the island of Flores,
near the central park. Flores is the capital of the northern tropical
department Petén. The touristic highlight of Petén are the
ruíns of Tikal.
Since we`re quite new you might not find us in your guide book. But no
worries, it`s easy to find us. We`re located next to the organization
Pro-Petén. When you walk up to the park take the first street to
the right! (see the red line on the map)
Try to come by yourself and not be guided by the people on the streets.
We have to give them a commission for bringing you in! Besides they have
their own interests which might not always be yours. So don`t believe
everything they say about us!

Reservations
We have beds available 24 hours. When the doors are closed, just ring the bell.
For dorm beds we only make reservations if you pay in advance in cash. In
general we have beds free in the dorms. If we`re full, flexible travellers
can always go for a hammock! |
